Why I Support Ron Paul

I made this short video of clips from the debate Ron Paul participated in, as well as some facts from his record. I like the looks of Ron Paul; I don't like the looks of any of the other candidates thus far, not even the Libertarians.

Unless/until that changes, I'm behind Ron Paul 100%, and this video shows why. He's a man of honesty, principle, and integrity like this country has not seen in 100 years.

He's got a much better chance in 2012 now that people will be able to run ads about him 60 days before the election.

I would love to see a presidential campaign that isn't just "Hey look, the other guy really sucks, so vote for us!!" 3 parties would be needed for that.

@winner0loser No, he hasn't. Stop lying. He said that he didn't care and if that were the issue of the day he'd just stay home and not bother running for office. And he voted against Santorum's amendment to No Child Left Behind that would have allowed "other theories."

I wonder if Ron Paul rejects germ theory as "just a theory". While I do like most of his views on the constitution, the economy, and foreign policy his stance on abortion is blatantly based on his religious views though presented as being about the constitution. This strikes me as intellectually dishonest. I wouldn't vote for any person who holds onto irrational beliefs out of fear and pride when the decisions they make based on those beliefs will affect everyone. Better than most but still bad.

I think the only way to combat RP in 2012 is if they give the sheep minded fucks of a population we have

A) a Mexican candidate

B) a Asian candidate

C) an even blacker candidate

and all with an epic empty slogan that trumps "change we can believe in"
