Children's Advocate Asks for Attention to Children's Issues --
Considers Running as a Write-In Candidate
Santa Claus posted a question to the candidates on YouTube last year during the "YouTube" debates asking what their policies and initiatives will be as President, regarding the 2 million children (1 out of 37) in the United States annually who are abused, neglected, exploited, abandoned, homeless, and institutionalized through no fault of their own. Despite over 20,000 views online, and exposure on MTV News, CNN, The Hill, and NPR, his appeal has thus far received no response from the candidates. The lack of response has driven Santa to consider declaring his candidacy.
"Evidently, the only way to bring these important children's issues to the attention of the public and compel the Presidential candidates to address them is for me to threaten to run as the write-in candidate for President," he commented. "The candidates' inability or unwillingness to answer my question indicates to me that they are blowing off the issue because children don't vote, or fail to realize that there are millions of adult voters who suffered as children the very same political indifference vulnerable children in dire straits suffer today."
Santa notes that there are millions of voting healthcare and public safety workers and foster and adoptive parents who have worked and lived with vulnerable children, understand their ongoing plight, and take a dim view of the Senators' failure to address a legitimate national issue—one that won't cost any more than the U.S. already is spending on children.
During 2006 and 2007, Santa visited every Governor's office and discussed children's issues with all the Governors' and many U.S. Senators' legislative staffs. It became evident that the federal government has an important role to play in helping states streamline a variety of processes and services they provide for and to children.
In Santa's view, although it is the states that primarily are tasked with providing for the safety, welfare, and health of these children, the states clearly cannot accomplish that by themselves—as evidenced by the current unmet needs of the 2 million children annually who are abused, neglected, exploited, abandoned, homeless, and institutionalized.
"Our next President must be the children's advocate," Santa emphasizes. "Children are our future; and, our Creator commands that we nurture, protect, and love them."

Bob Barr is a Republican.
Obama is favored by Nader and McKinney and somewhat by Barr. Obama isn't a bad guy. Just because he is the Democrat Candidate, doesn't mean he is truly agrees with them. He ran against Hillary and beat her. Hillary is the establishment, not Obama.
By the way there is no New World Order. I would love to give you a lesson on Mercantilism and other reason as for why there is no New World Order.
