Here is a video I made of the pc game Dead Space. I like this game a lot, it reminds me of Doom 3. It's scary and a bloody mess. The graphics are very detailed. I recorded this video with Fraps at 1440x900. The graphics settings I use in this game is all set to on or the highest settings. I get around 70-80 frames per second. My graphics card is Sapphire HD Radeon 3870.

Here are my sytem specs.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 rev.1
OS: Windows XP Pro x64 Edition
Graphicscard: Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 512MB GDDR4
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
Memory: 6GB A-Data DDR2 PC6400 @ 800Mhz
Soundcard: Realtek ALC888
Harddrives: Samsung SpinPoint T 500GB SATA II Seagate Barracuda 120GB IDE

No hardware is overclocked.

  • Ok, i need help with this. If i have 2 ATI Radeon HD 5970 2GB. And a new game comes out that needs a graphic card with 3 or 4GB. Can my graphic cards support it?

  • @uphill248 When they say the game needs 3 to 4GB to run they mean the internal memory in your computer not the memory on your graphics card.

  • is the Realtek ALC888 8+2 HD any good?

  • Yeah it's a very good sound card. It got even better since I upgraded to Windows 7. The sound card drivers for Windows 7 are much better then they are for Windows XP x64. In windows XP x64 there could be some crackling noise in some games. In Windows 7 all these problems are gone.

  • This is one hell of a scary game, especially if you're playing in a dark room at night with the sound on high...

  • Yeah =)
