Voter suppression laws are popping up in states across the country, ostensibly in response to the problem of voter fraud. Melanie Sloan, CREW's Executive Director, appeared on MSNBC's Politics Nation with Al Sharpton to discuss whether these laws are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

~~^~^~^~^~Americans should know the differEnce between voter fraud and ELECTION FRAUD. Voter fraud is non-existent. ELECTION FRAUD DOES EXIST. REPUBLICANS have a reputation for using DIEBOLD ELECTRONIC voting machines to commit ELECTION FRAUD. CALLyour congressperson & SENATOR & DEMAND the ELIMINATION of ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES & that we switch to a VERIFIABLE PAPER VOTING METHOD.~~^~~^~^~^^~^~^~^~^~^^~^~^~^~^^~^~^~^ To win in 2012 REPUBLICANS will NOT hesitate to use ELECTION FRAUD AGAIN

Not a whole lot of detail in this piece, I noticed.
There was not talk of HOW votes were suppressed by any of the new laws.
There was no explanation as to WHY 77% of black men in Milwaukee cannot vote.
In almost 8 minutes of air time, they provided nearly no evidence to support their claims.
Lastly, for the lady who thought there is no voter fraud problem (and Al agrees): wake up and do some research.
