Harry/Ginny - Ginevra

I felt like experimenting. This song just seemed to fit the Harry/Ginny pairing. Do I think the way the movies portrayed the relationship was bad? Oh yeah, totally. But that didn't stop me from rooting for them in the books. And despite all the shafting of the canon couples the movies did, they have managed to pull off some great visuals.

Note: It's better in HD. Set it to 720 before watching it.

Excellent job. May be one of the best Harry/Ginny vids I've seen. I totally agree that the movies destroyed their relationship. I think the biggest part of the problem was that they cut out most of the important scenes between them (and the new ones they wrote, like the infamous shoelace scene, were just awkward), and also gave Ginny a lot less personality than she has in the book. Another part of the problem, though, is that IMO Radcliffe and Wright have absolutely no chemistry together.

@Nacha255 Thanks. I think they were trying to build up the Harry/Ron/Hermione triangle they created, so they portrayed Ginny as more of an afterthought than a love interest. Don't even get me started how all of Ron's best moments are downplayed to make it look like Harry and Hermione are better friends. *sigh*

God! I love this video! One the best hp video ever. This video shows how beautiful this couple is and how much they love each other :) Everyday I watch this video. @reevesdamn Yes, the movie makers do seem invested in creating Harry/Hermione subtext that was simply not there in the book. It's a pity, because we all know they won't end up together anyway, so all this does is leave all fandoms unsatisfied. They should have put more effort into the couples who are actually, y'know, COUPLES. Ron and Hermione do have some good moments, but I agree most of the time Ron is made into a useless idiot (I did think this was better in DH).
