-nick's pov.
when someone coughed, we were both caught totally and completley off guard. i quickly took a step back, praying it wouldnt be my father. i turned, slowly, cautiously.
'mom!' i was kinda relieved, but i didn't know if she knew we were forbid to date.
i gave her a smile, which in hindsight was probably a little scary and suspicious, and her eyes narrowed.
'what?' i questioned nervously.
'nothing.' i was thankful to see her smile. she didn't know! 'you need to go into lockdown now nick.'
'okay mom; i'll be right there.' i replied.
she left the room and i instantly flopped onto the couch behind me. emily placed herself beside me and snuggled into my chest.
'this is going to be harder than i thought.' i sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
'what if your mom says something to your dad? she obviously doesn't know.' emily worried. she worries too much.
'i'll deal with it. don't worry about it.' i told her.
'but, what if he does find out nick? then i'll have to go... and who knows when we would see eachother again.' she stood up.
'look, i wouldn't let that happen to us. i can't let you go. but if you had to go, i would follow you wherever you went.'
i took her hand and pulled her back down beside me.
'why don't you go back to the bus.. relax. i'll get demi to come and keep you company once she's finished up. and then once we're done, we can spend the night together, just you and me.' i smiled at her.
she just nodded and went to get up, but i held her down.
'aren't you forgetting something?' i asked, a smirk displayed on my face.
'oh yeah, my jacket.'
she got up and walked over to her jacket before throwing it over her shoulder. she headed for the door.
'i didn't mean your jacket silly.' i smiled.
she grinned. 'i know, i was just teasing. you didn't really think i'd leave without a goodbye kiss did you?'
she gave me a sweet kiss on the lips before exiting the room, leaving me to complete our concert in a daze. i was so going to mess up tonight.

-emily's pov.
once i stepped out of the venue for about the millionth time that day with a security manager, i felt a sense of relief. one day down, just another forty or so dates left on the tour. woo! sense my sarcasm? don't get me wrong, i was so grateful for this opportunity, but my first day hadn't exactly given me much hope.
one, i get booed by fans, two, nick and i argue, three, nick breaks up with me, four, get slapped by a physco fan, five, i find out that it wasn't even nick's decision and then choose start a secret relationship only to get caught.
there were some fans behind a fence, only three girls. they began calling my name. i was a little terrified of the fans at this point, but i didn't want to get a reputation for being diva-ish, so i went over anyway. i heard demi's last song finish, so i knew she would be out soon.
'hey guys. didn't get tickets then?' i asked, trying to be polite.
'no. they sell out so quick!' the small blonde said.
'how long have you been here?' i asked.
'since this morning.. we were hoping that we would meet all you guys, but you were rushed in so quickly, we had no chance. plus there was so many people here earlier, we would have hardly got a look at you.' a brunette said. 'we were just about to leave, but then you appeared.'
the second girl, a pretty redhead, handed me a book and pen.
'could you sign this for me?' she asked timidly.
i took the book with a smile and began to sign it.
'what are they like?' the little blonde asked.
'the jonas brothers? they're amazing, they're like my family.' i smiled, thinking of nick.
'how did you meet them?' the tall brunette asked.
'well, a little like you guys right now.' i told her and handed back the book and pen.
'you mean.. you were a crazed fan like we are?' her eyes nearly popped out.
'uh huh.' i smiled.
i knew what it would mean for these girls to meet nick, kevin and joe. and i felt like making it happen.
'i remember when i met them, that was one of the greatest moments of my life and i know what its like to be like you. i want you girls to stay right here until the end of the concert, no matter how many girls show up or how much you get pushed out of the way. i'm gonna get you to meet the jonas brothers.' i said.
their smiles grew to grins, tears were forming in their eyes.
'what are your names?' i asked.
'um, i'm brooke, this is ellie and thats haley.' the brunette, the one who looked the oldest, pointed to each girl in turn.
i turned to the security manager who was escorting me from the building to the bus.
'can you make sure when the boys come out you let these girls through?' i asked the large man.
'of course.' he replied in his naturally low voice.
i turned to face the girls, 'well, i guess i will see you three later!'
and with that i headed to the bus, screams erupting behind me.
