The video is perfect for the song: The Pixies penned this melody because their record company wanted a radio-friendly single. It's a fun, poppy song but it's hardly a Pixies song. It stands out like a sore thumb on Doolittle. In the video they are aping their respective parts in a cheesy, phony "Rock 'n' Roll" stage. Look at the fake smiles and mugging glances to the camera. They are pretending to be another band. The video's genius.
