This is a ball and plate project I did for a micro-controller class. The plate has two degrees of freedom which are controlled by two digital RC airplane servos. The ball is a 1-3/8" steel ball bearing. Ball position is measured using a four wire resistive touch screen. The control is done using PID implemented on an Atmel Mega644p. By Alan Carr - Portland State University.
Hi,
very nice job. I am trying to do something similar in the spare time by my self. Unfortunately, I am not able to find proper ball joints for .plate-motor connection and the main joint to hold the plate, Can you give me some information about them. Which model have you used? Do you know a web site where I can buy them?
Thanks.

I have to make a similar project for one of my classes and was wandering where you managed finding the touchscreen and how much did you pay for it.

Great work! I'm trying to do a similar project for a controls class and I'd like to know if you could provide me with information on how I can purchase the center pivot and servo linkages. Thank you very much.
