"as long we just keep accepting the status quo, nothing will ever move into a positive direction again."
People will stop accepting the status quo once their unemployment runs out... which should be happening for an ever-growing number of jobless very soon. A gigantic number of the early lay-offs will run out of unemployment around June.

It sickens me that a provision was in the tarp bailout to limit executive compensation, but at the eleventh hour removed by Chris Dodd at the direction of the TREASURY Instead of amending the bill and clawing back the money they now want to tax the payouts at 90%! So it doesn't come back to us, the taxpayer, it ends up in the treasury. Great scam they've got going and unfortunately the ones that can least afford it (we the people) foot the bill! Thanks Ella for posting your video! 5 stars!

Hi Ella, when replying to notes you have received would you be so kind to mention who you're addressing, because we don't see this in any way, only from the context sometimes. Thank you.

Nimmst Du ab?. So scheint es. Und Du bist ja ganz ausser Atem in diesem Beitrag; Sollte das an der Diät liegen, obacht damit. Liebe Grüsse aus Madrid.

Every politician that has ever existed=empty promise.

The federal government should not prevent the bonuses from happening. Those bonuses were dispersed per contractual obligations. Bonuses are a drop in the bucket compared to the trillions stolen from us through the bailouts and Federal Reserve money printing..oh excuse me..quantitative easing.

The best analogy I can think of is:
Think of the 2 parties as 2 arms...a right and a left.. They are the two arms of the global elite with the same purpose. The arms are slowly closing around you until they've got everything in a death grip. All the finger pointing and name calling the parties do is just to distract and entertain.

kswatcher, about AIG - The bonuses [while "only" in the millions] is the INSULT. The injury i the money lost, in the trillions, by shareholders, employees.
These ppl belong in jail.
Enron all over again
It would benefit all congress and senate to view the video in which Congressman Cooper states the SCAM that insurance is. It's shocking what he has to say.

One can be glad Obama(and not McCain) is
President and still be critical of policy. One can even
harbor actual hope about this administration and
still be outraged at the continued bonusing of these
thieving bastards.I think pressure is building.
I trust Obama as mush as I trusted Bush. They both work for the same people and it is not "We The People".

I am sick of hearing people say forget about the bonuses they are contractual obligations and pale in comparison to the bailouts blah blah. It's the principle of the matter, not the amount. All of that crap needs to be clawed back and the lip service needs to stop.
