Nick: how the hell am I gonna get in there?!
Nick jumped up to try to touch the gutter on the edge of the roof. He failed.
Nick: damn it
Nick was thinking about Alex and Amanda stuck in the dark and jumped even higher.
His palms nearly fit on the end of the gutter, gripping his palm tighter as his muscular arms pulled him up onto the roof. He quickly tumbled onto the thick surface, as he cautiously walked up to the window.
Nick: ALEX, AMANDA
The room was silent, only the echo of his deep voice filled the room.
Nick: Alex WHERE ARE YOU
The room was still silent.
Nick slowly walked around the room screaming her name louder and louder almost breaking into tears.
Nick: ALEX, ALEX, ALEX WHERE ARE YOU. IF YOU CAN HEAR ME SCREAM PLEASE
The room was dead silent as he was standing in the middle of a dark beige room, with nothing but a metal attachment to a desk on the ground. His eyes wandered around the room.
Alex: NICCCCCCCCCCCCK
Nick jumped by hearing her voice and ran towards her direction.
Nick: where are you! Tell me where you are
Alex: I DONT KNOW ITS DARK AND COLD I FELL DOWN GET ME OUT OF HER she cried.
Nick: IM COMING BABY, DONT WORRY ILL BE RIGHT THERE.
Nick soon walked into another dark empty room. He looked to the left corner and saw a hole in the middle of the carpet. He walked closer and closer towards it.
Nick bent down in front of it.
Nick: Alex?
Alex: NICK!!!!
Nick rushed over to the other corner of the room as he grabbed a long hook that was leaning against the back closet. He picked it up and ran to where alex and Amanda were.
Nick: Here, grab onto this. slowly put your arm up for me okay
Alex reached her arms up as she felt the cold steel hook against her palms. She gripped the hook and pull her strength up to Nick.
Nick: slowly, I got you okay, just try your best to pull your self up.
Alex: I got it she said while pulling herself up slowly to Nick.
Alex reached over the edge of the cut carpet.
Alex: NICK! She cried.
Tears were rolled down her face in fear as she ran into nicks chest.
Nick put his arms around her and kissed her head.
Nick: its okay, your with me now.
Alex: I love you.
Nick: I love you too.
Amanda: HELLO GUYS, STILL DOWN HERE!
Nick pulled away from alex.
Nick: oh right, sorry.
Nick pulled the hook down as Amanda grabbed it and pulled herself up.
Amanda: Thanks.
Nick: anytime, glad your safe too. Thanks for finding her for me
He gave her a quick hug.
Nick: I better call the search team he laughed.
Alex : search team?
Amanda : lets just say your boyfriend, loves you.
They all laughed.
Nick picked his phone up and began to dial.
Joe: hello?
Nick: hey, I found her. Thanks for searching for her.
Joe: sweet, glad you found her, see you at home.. Ill call Kevin for you.
Nick: thanks bro, cya.
Nick hung up.
Nick: alright, lets get you ladies washed and warm.
The three of them went home and Nick put Alex into bed.
Nick: alright love, I have to go to this meeting right now about my diabetes foundation, but Joe is here to take care of you alright, I love you. Ill be back before you know it. he said kissing her forehead.
Alex: okay , good luck. I love you too. she said kissing his lips.
Nick left out the door as Joe walked into her room.
Joe: hey you, how you feeling?
Alex: hey, Im doing alright I guess, kind of want to go out though. I dont like staying inside.
Joe: yeah I know what you mean, want to go downtown with me?
Alex: SURE! I feel like I havent been outside in like five thousand years.
Joe: here its a nice day, we can walk if you want?
Alex: yeah Im down for anything
Joe: sweet, Im just going to grab my phone and coat, meet you in the driveway?
Alex: okay she said smiling getting ready to go out.
10 minutes later, Joe and Alex were walking down the sidewalk, practically already downtown.
Joe: so how are you and nick these days?
Alex: were doing well actually, how are you and Amanda?
Joe: were okay, things are starting to get weird between us I think.
Alex: weird? Why?
Joe: I dont know, I asked her if she wanted to chill with me today, and she said shed rather stay home.
Alex: hmm, that doesnt seem like her. I dont know, maybe shes still rattled about before, you never know with that girl.
Joe: yeah I know, its just I barely get to be home, and now that im here it seems like a perfect opportunity to date, Im just trying to get things going with her before we have to take off.
Alex: yeah I understand.
Joe: yeah I dont know, Im just confused thats all so hows everything with you these days?
Alex stopped in her place. Not saying a word. Her eyes grew wide and she looked worried.
Joe stopped and turned around.
Joe: Alex? Alex, whats wrong?
Alex: either I just peed my pants, or my my.
Joe: your?
Alex: my water just broke.
