Are you aware that these "strange preservative ingredience" are harmlessly broken down by the liver before being excreted? And as for the "monkey having a cold", that is just bullshit, where's the science and research (which you seem to value) behind that?

I am opposed to making the MMR vaccination purely optional, actually. In my borough, MMR vaccination uptake rates are reported to be only 43% and in Greater London they are just below 50%. There are some people who are genuinely medically unable to receive the vaccine, but they will be left extremely vulnerable to infection if those around them --nearly all of whom are able to receive the vaccine--are not vaccinated. A proper public health strategy requires mass vaccination against such illness.
