First shot of my semi-auto MG42

Just finished this MG42 semiautomatic and this is the first test fired round. Caliber is 7.62x51 (308 Win). The gun was originally built by the Germans in 1943 in Berlin.

Only one round is being fired just to make sure the gun is safe.

@Bishopx97 They used to run about $4-5,000 for a complete one... I don't know how much they are now... It USED to be cheaper to build.. Don't know if that's the case anymore....

the govenrment forgets they work for us not the otherway around. we make the rules not them. if we want full auto we get full auto

I certainly think it would be cool to build one. I've heard they're a touch difficult to build though. With several AK builds under my belt I'd give it a go for the hell of it. Good job on a successful build.
