A nice chinese lady cross stitched this wonderful Oriental Tapestry ,measuring 5 foot high by 9 foot long and 0.2 inches thick with loads of fiddlely pieces of thread. Many needles were lost and destroyed in the process. The scene depicted is a classical historical setting filled with ladies in fine silks.
It took her 3000 hours of hard laborious back breaking crippling work to make this fabulous hanging.
It was made with exactly 800,001 cross stitches and patiently counted by hand by her very young daughter over a very long weekend.A few years in the making at least. Now ready yourselves and enjoy this Epic "The Making of " photo montage. 4SLE .
