many diferent ways , yes you can make it yourself ( just keep in mind that even if YOU dont build it it will be handcrafted anyways)
But you can e-bay most of the material needed. given you have the extra cash and the means to use it. We fight ( and have been doing so for about 10 years now) ALOT , and an armor like that comes in very handy.
