The reason for the push this so hard is not to get you better healthcare but rather to put more of the economy under Obama's control.

If you doubt this read the bill. The bill prohibits the courts or congress from intervening in the distribution of tens of billions of highly discretionary spending under the bill. It is true Chicago style politics at its worse.

Senator Kennedy designed all the health care industry rules back in the 1970's. He invented the HMO and the architect for the health insurance high costs.

Barney Frank was the architect of the sub prime disaster. The health bill is the next sub prime disaster.

We need options outside employers and without Feds getting in the game.

Give individuals responsibility to choose in the private market.

This is a far cry from how the established media portrayed the town hall meetings. This broadcast confirms that they are actually sane believers of the Constitution who are genuinely concerned about their future instead of the fanatics they were described to be in the news.

The government is sworn to protect Americans. Insurance companies protect their profits. You pay taxes for your local fire department. You might never use their service but your neighbor might to save their home. What's more important? Your home or your body?

We have been burned by the multiple bailout programs pushed through Congress in a rush. Hopefully this time we will be wiser.

The answer is not in blowing up the system but rather fine tuning it. Of course Tort Reform is not on the table.

It is not about Congress getting between the doctor and the patient but rather the Congress and courts being able to look at in challenge the distribution of billions to groups at the absolute discretion of the Secretary who works for the President.

What was the stated purpose if it's actually in there?

Could it be that most Americans don't want millions of their tax dollars wasted tying up the courts & Congress while interfering with the wishes of patients & their families?

Obama wants to keep health care decisions in the hands of the patients not in the courts or Congress!

That's terrible. You really want Congress & the courts to make your health care decisions?
