So, "thinking it's a bad idea" and "worrying" is somehow diametrically
opposed in your world? Good to know.
Yes, thousands of people commit suicide every year. Every one of them is in some way disturbed. Thousands of people commit murder, does that mean it's okay, too?
I have the right to judge everyone. I don't know where you get this idea that I don't. And since you're judging me right now, obviously you don't believe that "no one can judge" crap, either.

@PsychoticLoner Actually the judge wasnt worried about them being in the same room together for Sarahs safety, they thought it was a bad idea because it would just make his obsession with her worse. Thousands of people commit suicide every year, doesnt make him any different from some of them. And you certainly have no right to say that someone who you never even met and dont know anything about is "beneath everyone else". Also pretty ironic coming from the guy called "Psychoticloner"
-
Sure, here are the facts. The Judge was so worried about McLachlan being in the same room as this guy that he threw out his lawsuit on that fact alone. This same guy committed suicide later. Many of the lyrics in this song, though not vulgar, still reveal a forceful, disturbed viewpoint ("I won't be denied") All of this is generally a sign of NOT being a "poetic" or "friendly" guy, a guy who certainly deserves to be judged as beneath everyone else.

@PsychoticLoner I'm not defending anyone but I do think that you should get your facts straight before you go judging people.
-
Uhh, buddy, step back and look at what you're writing. You're defending a flipping *stalker*. Bad teen romance novels to the contrary, stalkers aren't nice people in any way.

@PsychoticLoner Who said anything about cornering a woman? He never went near her, and if you actually saw the notes and what Sarah said about it all you'll see that nothing he said was in any way vulgar. Do some research and get the facts right before you go making up your own theorys and conclusions about something.
-
Content doesn't make it any less sleazy if it's unwanted. If I cornered a women in a dark alley and haltingly recite Shakespeare's sonnets with my hand down my pants, then it's sleazy.
Besides, I severly doubt it was "kiss her so hard" in the original note. I'd bet money it was something far more vulgar ...

@Spellbinder888 The fan wasn't exactly "sleazy". Actually he was very poetic and friendly towards Sarah and loved her and believed that she loved him back. One message he sent her was "Oh Sarah, Will I ever hold you on that shore? Or only live it in a dream? Will I ever tell you of my fears? Will you ever collect my tear?" Not exactly what you'd call "sleazy" and "not particularly sophisticated". :L

@kookoobaby456 oh me too

@kirarei12 The lyrics are inspired and at times lifted directly from sleazy fan mail she got. If you listen, you will see it's written from the perspective of a stalker/crazed fan. It's not particularly sophisticated.... quite easy to see.

Pretty certain these lyrics are from Sarah McLachlan's song "Possession", not some crappy fanfic.
