Das Dinotherium-Museum in Eppelsheim (Kreis Alzey-Land) in Rheinhessen (Rheinland-Pfalz) zeigt Tierreste aus rund zehn Millionen Jahre alten Ablagerungen des Ur-Rheins. Das im August 2001 eröffnete Dinotherium-Museum geht auf die Idee und Initiative von Altbürgermeister Heiner Roos zurück. Eine besondere Attraktion des Museums ist der Abguss eines 1835 bei Eppelsheim entdeckten Schädels des rund 3,50 Meter hohen Rüsseltieres Deinotherium giganteum ("Schreckenstier").
