i have exactly the same polyphone, with bells. the switch on left side, turn the bells off. ;O) there are very loud. this polyphon is manufactured in chemnitz (germany). near my home.

@DarsowGolf It is not the music that is "crap", as you so eloquently put it, but the recording quality which does no justice to this machine whatsoever.

Very nice music box- excellent condition. Regarding "the bells ruin it.." If the recording had a greater bandwidth the poster would appreciate your music boxe's quality.

The bells ruin it don't they? Too many overtones for it to sound nice. Just noise. Take be bells out and you could actually hear the tune!
