This is the second clip I've produced that examines how well Four Thirds lenses autofocus on an Olympus Pen E-P2 Micro Four Thirds camera. The first was using a ZD 50mm F/2 macro, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiYLVF_yjw8 This time we are using a ZD 12-60 SWD. The 50 macro I feel works better than the 12-60; probably because SWD AF is so highly optimised for DSLR phase detect AF. See the forum thread on Four Thirds User at: http://www.fourthirds-user.com/forum/showthread.php?p=52787#post52787
@dlobrown8888 Micro four thirds is a format used by Olympus PEN and Panasonic interchangeable lens cameras. It has to do with the lens mount (i.e. you can't put a canon lens on a sony camera without an adapter). Micro four thirds lenses are optimized for the Contrast-detect auto focus which is the one that m4/3 cameras use as opposed to phase detection autofocus used on most other interchangeable lens cameras. M4/3 lenses are best on m4/3 cameras.
