@branch1234 I don't agree, anyway. Any of the guitarist I've mentioned is better BLUES guitarist for me than Joe. I like Joe a lot, but in terms of rock-blues aproach rather than blues. He's a blues influenced guitarist, but he's not a blues guitarist.

@StevieRayNo1inBlues I do not agree. While B.B. is alive, there just one king of the blues. Then you also have Buddy Guy, Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Robert Cray... and if you think of the new talents, of course Bonamassa is one of them, but you also have Matt Schofield, KWS, Chris Duarte... and a long etc.

Derek Trucks is fantastic but even he would tell you that Joe is the new torchbearer. In fact they sometimes have Joe cameo with them on stage if he happens to be in the same city.
