I’ve been receiving hate mail because my son is currently in Afghanistan negotiating with the Taliban for a peaceful & orderly handover of power in certain provinces- apparently this makes him a ‘TRAITOR TO OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS’!
The Taliban have done well over the past 10yrs, showing themselves to be highly able & organised fighters- frankly they’re fully worthy of being part of the country’s future. As the saying goes: “Kill as many Yanks as you’re able- win a seat at the bargaining table.”
