'Can't Send the Children to School' is a tune I recorded in 1993 on my CD "Having a Fit Over Your Love."
I was motivated to write this song because of the tremendous amount of violence in Chicago schools. Unfortunately, the situation remains the same. The message is that the people in the communities where so much violence occurs have to take charge, '"....we can only blame ourselves"

The photos were randomly selected from different gigs over a number of years.

Personnel:
L. Beauchamp 'CHICAGO BEAU' - Harmonica, Vocals
Larry Burton & Herb Walker - Guitars; Ken Barker - Piano
Willie Kent - Bass; 'Baldhead' Pete Williams - Drums
and special guest: Billy Boy Arnold - Harmonica tr.3,5,8.

  • I love the guitar, the lyrics and the overall message! Blues at its finest =)

It's an important message accompanied by great rhythm and music, it just wants to make you move! Which makes it very unique!
