Toastmasters CC#9 Persuade With Power: Mike Carr - Dad Speech Part 1/2

Mike Carr completes a Toastmasters Competent Communicator Speech CC#9 Persuade With Power at Prince George Toastmasters in Prince George, BC on June 17th 2010. Chair was Dan Smith. Evaluator was Joe Turner.

The theme of the meeting was "Dads" and my speech was titled "The Dad Speech".

The speech was written both as a tribute for my dad who died on Christmas Eve 2000 as well as a premise to bring out friends and family to the event. Part 1 was the main body of the speech and Part 2 is the surprise wedding proposal between Carol Reimer and Mike Carr and their announcement of their pregnancy.
