Sound track is I believe (1953)
Photos found on the internet
Lyrics:
I believe for every drop of rain that falls,
A flower grows,
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night,
A candle glows.
I believe for everyone who goes astray,
Someone will come to show the way.
I believe,
I believe.

I believe above the storm the smallest prayer,
Will still be heard.
I believe that someone in the great somewhere,
Hears every word.
Every time I hear a new born baby cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky.
Then I know why,
I believe.

Every time I hear a new born baby cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky.
Then I know why,
I believe.

  • Think the birth year is not right, 1939?

  • @eojet That's right, where someone noted 1939 -2004 , RIP, it was about HIS granddad. Not Frankie's of course. My birthyear also 1939, lol. Thx for the comment

  • i remember my grandad by this song

    RIP 1939 - 2004 grandad

  • I was born in the same year...luckily I made it until now...so i can still bring back happy musical memories from the fifties, amongst which of course Frankie...

  • I literally grew up with Frankie. My grandmother was his personal secretary for over forty years and ran his fan club till her death. My father took care of his horse for him in the backyard. His songs still move me. I have them all.

  • Makes me cry........ love it
