our beautiful McSperitts Tennessee Prince goes to driving school given by Randy Roberts, 2009 World Champion Teamster Driver, Bishop Mule Days. These clips give a little insight to what is needed to break your team or single horse to a cart or buggy. We had a lot of fun.
In one of the slides, I misused the word should have been Randy has patience, not patients. Also I spelled Katie's name wrong: it should be Katie Cosgriff. Sorry Katie!! I didn't know how to correct it in the slide so hopefully I'll be forgiven!

Using such long lines is so dangerous. NO driving school here will do that. And I do hope you didn't drive the cart an horse while it was tight to the trailer. That's just ridiculous. I'm not sure how long these driving lessons took but here it takes months for the driver before he's ready for the exam. It depends on the horse how long it takes before he's ready.
