@tebaldicallas I agree. Sounds as though something is stuck way back in his throat. But he evokes much feeling . He's sort of like a male Maria Callas. Hauntingly imperfect.

Good voice, but it does not sound like a tenor - the voice is not very clear for a tenor.

Ritengo che questo bravo tenore debba cantare altro. Non è un tenore di grazia! Non deve affrontare un repertorio non adatto alla sua voce! Prenda esempio da Tito Schipa, Alfredo Kraus e Luciano Pavarotti!

As a very old opera lover I have heard many, many tenors, this fellow comes close to the top three or four to touch my heart, I go back a long way, believe me Kaufman is the real thing, a great privilege to be able to reach such artistic talent through You Tube, for me a marvellous
access to find in my declining years. Thanks.
