Heh, i wonder how would you, staying at the bus company, affect the mmo/virtual goods industry.

@XionXXXX I would pay taxes if they made everything legal, and inflation free. I would make gold farming/virtual brokering my career if i could, especially if the only thing i had to do was pay some taxes... Who doesn't want to play video games for a job?

cool. i was one of the pioneer in pacific server. one thing is different is that i dominated the whole market myself using the dupe bug in 1997. i had about 300 mil gold by 1998 jan (richer than all the players in the server add up im sure :)). 40+ buildings all over the map and islands.

Just wait til Big Brother and the IRS steps in and regulates the Virtual Economy.
Yep, Income taxes on that WoW account you sold, only benefit would be you can't get banned by the game companies for doing it no more.

Wow I was just borned in 1997 im 13 now :D
you talk about paying bills etc etc. Do you make a living off of gaming? or do you have second / third jobs like for example a waitress might have? JW because I am a teen very interested in gaming. I've spent over 2 grand on my gaming set up (1400$ gaming comp, 2 24 inch HD monitors, and some stuff for my comp) so I want to know if you make a alright living gaming?

I make a living and employ several people with this stuff. It's changed a lot from what I described in the video. I think it would be hard to make a living off of working a game these days. It takes a lot more then that.
