This lecture takes on the new Latina Feminism that started as Chicana Feminism. The origins of Chicana Feminism are confronted for their White Supremacist agenda.

Citlalli Citlalmina Anahuac of Mexica Movement makes this presentation in three parts. This was recorded for the Mexica New Year (February 2) lectures on the January 30, 2010.

There will be a follow up Chapter 2 on this lecture in April or May 2010.

  • great to see indigenous people fighting for their true heritage. I've always depended on whites for a different outlook. Hopefully we can rely on ourselves without eurocentric influences for now on...

  • OMG! When she said "maternal colonialism" I about hit myself. That's EXACTLY what I've been going through with some of these anti-porn "feminists" who have been going around this site calling me a "fucking latina bitch" and a "fat fucking chola" just because I don't buy into their lies that MY body is the problem.

  • The European concept of property rights was one of the biggest damages to women's rights. The communal ownership to private ownership debate ignores the fact that land rights were generally matrilineal. When these rights were destroyed, most of the power was taken from women. Worse was what was put in place! Women were reduced to being chattel like European women at the time, but with brown women at the bottom of the social ladder imposed by the new male centred religious and legal system.

  • Excellent! Great videos. Keep it up.

  • @aimsb1214 She can speak on your show .

  • this is a wonderful video series my question is do you also have videos that talk about how religions mainly the Roman Catholic church played a role in destroying this culture and other cultures of indigenous people? If yes can you send them to me to observe thanks.
