In his interview When critics trashed Sam's Town, there's something great from it. He sings his guts out in their live performances to prove that the songs are good. at the end Sam's town (tour) they became great live performers.

@76special i got to meet him when he came to michigan royal oak music theater. we stood outside for 2 hours in the snow and hail singing killers songs and finally he let us on his tour bus. and i was speechless. it was by far the best night of my life

You could tell he was really upset by Sam's Town's critical reception. Thumbs up if you feel Sams Town IS one of the best albums of the past 20 years.

I don't think that Brandon is ever comforatble in interviews, which raises him in my opinion because that means he's a real person and not just someone who wants to be a celebrity.
