Animated film noir short

This is a rotoscoped short influenced by the film noir genre. It took, in total, from initial ideas developments to finished product, about 15 weeks to complete. Thank you to Steven, Sian, Toyah and Tom for thier hard work during the animation process. Also, thanks to Michael, and especially Jon and Lee T for their patience and faith during the project.

This version is a compressed file version, so the quality isn't that great. I will upload a high quality version at a later date.

Ideally, I would have liked it to run for longer but we just didn't have the time. With it being a college project, we had deadlines to meet so it wasn't possible.

But i'm sure if you do some research on the genre, it is true to most of the codes and conventions.

I liked this film. I like to read noir and found there is also a video "Noir Naiton" here on Youtube that looks cool, looks like they publish Graphic novels as well, and will reach the e-pub audience on Kindles, Nook, iPads etc. Their Facebook page looks cool, too.
