HiAll,
This is no more than a generic test mock up to see the functions of a Greedy boost controller. Nothing exciting. I upgraded to another boost controller and had this one sitting around. Make comments if I described anything incorrectly or it has helped you in some way. Thanks for watching!

  • Unfortunately I'm unable to measure it. The unit was sold a few months ago.

  • Whats the resistance (Ohms) for the Greddy Solenoid?

  • @MichaelSupraboi, unfortunately i didn't get a chance to check it.

  • That would be a challenge to measure the translation of psi to mV.

I would suggest you measure the output psi from your actuator to ensure it's accurate with your adjustable reading on the console unit.

Greedy actuators rarely go bad unless it suffered serious neglect or abuse.

    Cheers

  • hey man great video tutorial. Since this applies to most other types of e boost controllers it really helps people understand what it acutally does. Props to you.

  • @xGoodxEnoughx Gotit! Thanks for the feedback.

  • @Ba11erzTT~ so boost is pulse-width-modulated??

  • looks like my solenoid works, when I hook it up to 12volts it clicks and operates as it should. Damn

  • Did you happen to measure the output voltage to the solenoid? I *think* (and hope) my solenoid has shorted itself (and not my unit). When i try to measure the voltage output by the unit, it's goes between 0v and 30mv. If i give it about 2psi, it shows about 1mv, 10psi is about 10mw and 40psi is 30mv.

I've tried googling various forums but can't find anything. Idealy it'd be best to just check the unit in another persons car but nobody I know has the same one.

    Thanks for any reply.

  • I need a little help on vacume hook up my email is hatzi1972@yahoo.com
