  • @AlaokDibar You can say that again! People liked AMC products because they were small and different, and Abernethy was too blind to see that.

  • George Romney was a genius, too bad his buffoon successor Ray Abernethy messed up a good thing.

  • @8584zender lol, they're well dressed hitchhikers and they're giving him dirty looks as he drives by and leaves them stranded to hitch a ride with someone else.

  • Gotta love the guy in a 3 piece suit with 2 chicks who just are out for a stroll along a deserted highway in the Arizona desert. Hey, look at that car! It's a Rambler.

  • this guy rambles on a bit...

  • Those hardtop station wagons did look nice. AMC was the first company to introduce them, in 1956, and made them until 1960. Mercury had hardtop wagons from '57 to '60, Olds and Buick in 1957 and '58, and then Dodge and Chrysler had them from 1960 to '64.

  • Recently found a print ad to go along with this at an antique market. Great the way it explains how it makes the husband AND wife happy, while plugging Disney television on ABC.

  • Five Stars!
