  • Excellent series of vids,..Great instructor !!! Thanx for your time & expertise there,...

  • @normbrag

Thanks for the compliments. I plan on touching on these subjects a little more in the future. This was my first attempt at this type of series. Thanks

  • in regard to maps you can go to the county you live in and get highly detailed topographical maps of your surrounding areas that include water sources and other land features that can be used in your favor.

remember if the SHTF than you will have the advantage of knowing your territory the zombie invasion or whoever won't.

  • Thanks for the input.

A topo map would be extremely useful.

  • What about water purification? Maybe I missed it?

  • I did not discuss water purification in these videos, but it will be covered in the near future.

We are moving onto to some practical application, game getting, and other field basics soon.

I just wanted to familiarize everyone with the type of gear they can expect to see.

  • One thing people overlook, is even though there's a main focus on survival, boredom can set in, and a deck of cards is about the smallest pack-able non battery powered entertainment, that can be played with by yourself, with others. and if push comes to shove, the wax cards can make great semi water resistant fire starter when you have non primitive fire starting methods. Other uses as well. Trail Markers, poke them on to branches for an example.

  • Great Info...Thx man

  • Excellent vid. Loads of great info.

  • Man!! How heavy that equipment is going to be? I have a bushcraft gear with only the essentials and its pretty heavy, about 20 kg (44 pounds). I wonder how heavy is the gear in these 4 videos?

  • If you don't want to carry around a small vacume, you can get a similar effect (at least with cloths) by filling a heavy duty zip lock bag, sitting on the bag, and while sitting on it, zipping it back up. Take care not to over-fill though, because it will break if you do.

  • Just like always Excellent video series YOU ARE a GREAT TEACHER THANKS..

  • I have the same vacuum system as you do, however, i put ammo in the socks. I put around 5-7 socks with 10 rounds of 7.62x54r in each sock and still had some room for a couple stripper clips.

    Love the vids btw

  • Got me a pack mate vac sealer & decored a whole roll of tp &shrunk that baby down to less than half inch thick & same with 20 serving size of oatmeal then with 3 seperaterate zip bags,i added trail mix to one, cinnamon with sugar to another, & dehydrated banana chips to the 3rd so i can change the menu from one main ingredient,...I takes up no room in my ruck all about half inch thick,.. • I watched these and just wanted to say thanks for your time and effort! I found these to be extremely helpful!!!! Keep up the good work!

  • Training for the usage and maintainance of equipment like or similar or to this should be mandatory for all citizens.
