All Blues on Godin Multiac Jazz

My first try to put up some video for Youtube. Please forgive me for some background noise that my son made playing. On this video I use Godin Multiac Jazz guitar strung with half round 12s straight to A.E.R. Compact 60 acoustic amplifier running hall reverb in it. I use a playback of play along jazz standards book. My daughter was filming me.

I always loved acoustic pick-up sound of this guitar and had never had a problem similar to yours. Nevertheless, the thing to keep an eye on is the string gauge, the action and the amp.

this is awesome! im planning on buying this guitar, although can it play regular, non-jazzy acoustic tones also?

As per your question, certainly you could use this guitar for a large variety of tones. Long time ago I tried to put it through a high gain distortion, just for the sake of fun, and it really handled that well for a jazz guitar. The sound was reach with a very long sustain.

I wanted to buy a new Jazz guitar and cant decide between a Yamaha AES 1500 and this Godin youre just playin. Maybe you can advice me, since you have had them both. Would be great. I need some advice on using my multiac jazz, it seems that when I use more of the acoustic piezo, I get this metallic ring when playing, But if I transfer to the magnetic pick up, it goes away, But then I cant get the sound Im aiming for. I just want to know if you had a similar problem and if so, what did you do to help the problem.
