Nice - straight in there, no messing around.. I've got a model 1 so its hard to mod but NOT impossible.. I'm going to get a chip soon and re-wire the thing - the swap trick is cool and everything but it takes time and screws up the drives motor over time = not good.. I was lucky to get a Saturn in nice condition, I should try to keep it like that! Saturn and Dreamcast are the best - I love SEGA so much!

I have a SEGA Saturn. It is modded. It has a mod chip, a 50/60 Hz switch & a full country switch mod. I did it myself. It also has a VCD card & I have a NetLink 28kb/s modem, keyboard adaptor & a mouse. All boxed SEGA products.
I can play any & all games made for this console. I have an RF adaptor, a SCART cable, an S-Video cable & an A.V.(redwhiteyellow) cable.
To be able to use RGB, or even VGA, would be a massive bonus.
Any links to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

@BLahhamstick could you give a video of the procedure? i wouldnt mind moding my saturn to play backups, jap/us games i can play fine with a converter cd!.

I considered modding mine though, as the games are harder to find and more expensive, plus I could english games on my japanese system

to flakkks u need a lens cleaner not for dvd just cd.
i use one for mine, & my is from 97 & i bought mine from a anvets for $10 with 1 game tomb raider & 1 controller & power cord. i bought it 2yrs ago.

Seriously how dumb do you think people are? You obviously had 2 Saturn's. Who am i to say the Saturn cant be modded, but atleast try and make it a little more belivable
