In relevance to this video and Elon Musk's confidence throughout the video while answering questions and just as it was mentioned in an article concerning Elon Musk and Tesla Motors published by Wired in September of 2010: "Elon has huge steel balls," his ex-wife notes on her blog. "He truly does."
.... Like a Boss.

Base the Model X on the Land Rover Range Rover. People will buy that for sure, all the families with Model Xs.

@murc111 that was indeed wishful thinking : )
I'm not 'bashing' tesla motors. I'm just calling it like it is.
as I said I'm a big EV proponent, Tesla is just missing a big opportunity in not going for efficient design and instead making conventionally heavy and wasteful cars. plus they apparently did rather poor cost management on the roadster project which means that despite a price tag of 110+k$ they still managed to lose 100k$ for each one sold.
I keep it real.

@DanFrederiksen - You really don't like Tesla for some reason, your bashing them on youtube as well...
I thought you were confined to just autobloggreen......or maybe that was just wishful thinking.
-
Hey Elon, I dig the shit man! B-)
-
I love it ,"Can you get the range?" Elon replies, with confidence "Yeah"
-
It's going to be a CUV and will come out in 2014!
@DanFrederiksen ANT WRONG!! I'd be willing to bet $5K that your wrong. Like the $5K that I gave Tesla to reserve the Model S 3 years in advance sight unseen! The monthly transfer a wealth out of the U.S. because of gas is in the Trillions. Time will show, your the fool.
Thats a given... Run'n tell That!!

The difference in the Model S batteries is the cathode is made from Aluminum Nickel Cobalt (AlNiCO). The Roadster Cathode is all Cobalt. Cobalt is the most expensive element in the battery. The Model S batteries is less expensive but has a higher energy density than the Roadster.
