Doesn't Bonnie sound like "Jean Sheppard"........Great Country Women!!

@Evangelander That's right. And Dolly Parton doesn't really work from 9 to 5, so there's another meaningless song. And George Straight doesn't really have a bunch of Ex-wives living in Texas. And John and Paul didn't really live in a Yellow Submarine. You see, they are just songs. I bet you're a lot of fun to go to the movies with, sheesh! (sarcasm, in case you might happen to take that literally too)

Yikes! I read these comments and wonder just what is going on in peoples minds. This is Bonnie Owens and Merle Haggard. It is true that they are great artists and it's a great song. but does anyone really listen to the words of a song. The song is one of Buck Owens' songs and Bonnie is Buck's ex-wife, yet she is singing with Merle, to whom she was also married and declares their love will never end, but they were divorced. Kinda makes the song meaningless, wouldn't you think? just sayin' : )
