A short video composed of photographs taken by Steven H. Lee at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, an art museum of international stature in the centre of Copenhagen featuring both ancient and modern art. The photographs highlight the work of French sculptor Auguste Rodin as housed at the Glyptotek, including The Burghers of Calais; The Prodigal Son (Marble, 1899); Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini (Mable, 1907); Caryatid Sinking Under the Weight of Her Burden (Marble, 1907); The Shade (Plaster, 1903-04);
Monument to Victor Hugo (Plaster, 1902-05); The Kiss (Marble, 1901-03); Eve (Limestone, 1901-06). The sound design is a recording of the sounds of the museum at the time the photographs were taken.
@burplec Thanks! And sorry for the late reply - the new Youtube shows me the comments much more easily than the old layout did so I'm seeing many of these comments now for the first time. I got the idea to do this when I was initially taking the photos - I liked the sound and ambiance of the place and decided to record it to eventually overlay a video montage of the photos I took. I'm learning more about editing with Premiere and other programs so I want to do a newer version of this!
