Its oblivious that this is a coppiced tree, many plants grow faster if you do chop them. We have an old rose we cut down and its vines are crawling up onto the second level of our house now. But the windkeeps pushing them over and I think it will break.
Probably would have grown even better if you cut out the grass around the base (about 2' by 2'), so it doesnt have to compete for water. That pine tree in back seems to be growing fast as well.
rather slow growing.. we have one in our yard and when we cut it in automn down, it grows about 5 Meter in a half year (spring > summer).
If we dont cut it, after 1 - 2 Years it reaches a Top of about 12 Meter

Is possible growing this tree at over 2000 m over sea level ? What kind of paulownia?
