The line was still used some years ago. A group called "Vennbahn" was using the line with some old trains like a german steam locomotive BR50 or others engine. It was a very beautiful line because I've travelled was I was 16, I think.
Too bad for the 53 miles of the line... (Sorry for my english, I hope you understand me =s I'm belgian...)

No - the railway line is now abandoned. I understand that the tracks themselves are now being removed, however there is no suggestion that the territory will be ceded by Belgium to Germany AFAIK
