@kedordu Thanks, after the workout I wait for a couple and don't eat, let the body still do it's job as our metabolism is still high for a while afterwards, don't want to divert that energy into digesting anything.
Then, eat something with higgh protein content fto build muscle, like salmon, seafood, chicken or beans with wild rice and lots of veggies. Sometimes Greek yogurt drizzled with dark honey and with berries. Or fresh veggie juice in addition to protein, I juice daily & eat fruit.s.
ok i understand . so what do u use after u work out ? im trynna do the same thing stay off the processed stuff. started using hemp milk , cocoanut oil to 'process/cook food ' etc
@kedordu Maybe, they are tabu for me as I am on a whole foods diet excluding anything that is processed in a ny way and all powders are processed "foods".
At the gym I go to i see things that scare me, protein powders full of sugar and chemicals, "fitness" drinks full of artificial colors. flavors and sugars, "nutrition" bars that have nothing to do with nutrition, all the stuff geared towards bulding muscle and "energy". Isn't it better to eat a lunch of salmon, wild rice and gilled veggies in all possible colors? That would give our boddies what we need and a feeling of a true welllbeing not just big muscles along with a a weak heart.
