ALL SYSTEMS GO! I finally got this thing the power it deserves. I had a friend come over and tap into the breaker box for me and bust me out 4 dedicated 20a circuits. He put them on 2, 75', 4/10 cords. Now i am not only able to play this system as loud as i want, but i can also move around the shop! Im not stuck in one corner, FTW!!! Special thanks to my friend Tim who hooked it up PROPER..

See the previous 19 video's to understand how this all came to be!

the system consists of:
Mackie 1604 VLZ mixer
DBX DriveRack
2 crown xti 4000's (bass)
2 crown CE 2000w amps.....
Furman Power Conditioner
Stanton DJ CD Player
Apple Ipad
Emerson Corless mic system (4 total)

The Towers EACH have
(8) 7" Ascendant Audio Carbon mids PORTED @ 60hz
(4) Morel Tweeters
1 Ascendant Audio SMD 18" woofer.
2 18" Passive radiators

Everything is all Actively crossed over, no passives at all.

  • Steve, are you using separately amplifier to High-mid section and second amp to bass?

  • @FhansuaZielafo both are 4 channel amps. I use one for the left side of the car, the other for the right. The subwoofers are still playing in mono, just shared over 2 power supplies instead of just one.

  • It's kinda hard to pressurize a room like this. Plus it would be fun. BAHAHA awesome

  • What an awesome set up. I watched your build videos and was totally impressed with all the detail and hard work. Sounds DAM good Steve.

  • I work with Pro Audio (for touring), and I had worked with those amps (xti and CE) and with the Crown Macro Tech, which I personally like more than any other from crown. They really really get very powerful in low freq, and the sound is more warmer. If you can, try them and you will like to change your amps.

About the setup, they look great, I suppose that sounds better than it looks (camera mic doesn't make justice). congrats!

  • ey meade you should make your own smd wires, smd amps, smd everything thats for sounds you know that would be awsome big fan

  • i am gonna make a mini 50 watt version of this

  • Props for bumping them Old School Bass Tracks!!!

  • How much did you spend on building those? :O

  • hey man, how much different does a pr sound from a port? isn't it practically ported but without the port noise? so it's effective and has more of a solid sound like a sealed box?
