American Marines never lost a single engagement to the Royal Marines during the Revolution, and RMs were present during the US capturing of the HMS Drake, Trepassey, Halifax, Atlanta and Serapis, as well as the burning of the HMS Thompson in British waters. They shot the captain of the Drake personally, his 2nd Lt had to strike the colors. It was a US Marine who threw a grenade into the hold of the Serapis exploding its gunpowder stores as well.

@orckiller91 that was with the help of the french germany and holland. And still the only reason george washington and the little of "soldiers" he had left would've been wiped out if britain hadn't been misinformed by a double agent wich made us retreat from finnishing you off.
I know your comment is ages old but I just felt you should know as it seems to be a common mistake that americans think "they kicked our donkey" all by themselves in a glorious big war wich is just not true.
