Harold never made the mistakes, it was indiscipline from the English right flank of the wall that cost England the battle, up until late afternoon the French and Flemish corp of the Norman army were taking a severe beaten, it was only their inexperience in charging down the hill after them that caused the defeat, if they had remained static the day would of been Englands.

@haleemah8800 Lissten to the words then. Marroitt Edgar was not just a wordsmith. He was also very accurate in what he said. Also, the Bajieux tapestry was made in England, not Normandy nor France.

well, now, a pedant like you would obviously be aware that cavalry need horses and the Anglo-Saxons did not have cavalry; however, if kings did not travel on foot, how did they travel? No, don't tell me, let me guess, was it on horseback?
