Like most of your uploads, I did not know this beautiful piece of music. But now it's on my list of favorites. And I love the few seconds when the organ plays it's solo.

Sounds like a great parlor organ. (I'm kind of envious.)

@uwemommens  Those old parlor organs were common in those days. I remember a number of neighbors having them in there houses when I was a kid. You should list to my other posts by this group. You will like them.

I never heard the Shannon Quartet before until now and boy oh boy did I enjoy this one. They do sound a lot like The Peerless Quartet. Also,the photographs that you send with the videos are very good. I am glad you sent this GEM, Bob. Thank you.

@tippy328 I have more posted on my channel, you should sample them. I like the Peerless too but I think the Shannon was the better group.

This is a beautiful Orthophonic rendition! It's especially striking as I've listened to their acoustic recording of the song a number of times over the years.
