Yeah, once you switch stitches, the remainder can't twist.......and creates a tight join (avoids a little "gap" on your first row.)
Once you switch stitches the last stitch becomes your first stitch/ work from there... (the last stitch may be a little tight on the first round - won't make any difference from there on out....
Happy Knitting!

I was very interested in your video for knitting in the round. I only have one question. I understand that part about criss crossing the first stitch and the last stich,
Is this to prevent your work from twisting.
And once you've criss crossed your 1 st and last st, is that considered your first.
Thank you in advance for the information.

one thing I thought was a little confusing is that your working yarn was on the left and other sites say to have your working yarn on the right.

your videos are very informative =) however, i can barely hear your voice clear enough when i turn up my volume it gets very distorted... bummer...
do you have any videos that have a better sound quality? your camera angle is right on! great job!!! thanks so much =))))
I'm a left-handed knitter - continental style....... I recommend trying it if you're just starting to knit..... However, more often I see folks taught right-handed (English Style)...... Either way, your yarn is doing the same thing over the needles.... just looks a little different/ confusing. Happy Knitting! Kara & Cast One On in Welches, Oregon....
