Beethovens Klaviersonate Nr. 17 in D-Moll, Opus 31 Nr. 2

Largo. Allegro
2. Adagio
3. Allegretto

  • I think the pianist is Ashkenazy. Wonderful!

  • @henrique1944 Really? How did you come up with that? lol

  • there are no pictures of other composers besides mozart's. beethoven, of course. or didn't I watch properly.

  • True, but I had to make a point (he didn't watch the video).

  • Holy darn this was prefect, much better played than the Moonlight Sonata. Are you the one playing the music?

    5/5

  • You flatter me Jimmy.

  • I saw Ashkenazy studying this Sonate, for one hour more or less, and I think he is the one that plays like that. I could think of the possibillity of Arrau, Brendel ...

  • @LogicalEuropean Iwatch Ashkenazy practtising this sonata for 1 hour here in Brasil so I conclud that he were the pianist. This interpretation reminds Arrau, Brendel too.

  • @henrique1944 no, the pianist is Alfred Brendel.

  • the pianist is Alfred Brendel! i can assure you!

  • Grazie per questo bel pezzo di musica:)

  • Although this doesn't match my "interpretation" of how the piece should sound (I generally envision this piece with quieter piano dynamics, slightly longer staccatos, and upward mordentos), it is an excellent rendition of the sonata, and probably closer to Beethoven's intent given the sonata's title ("The Tempest"). Well done!

  • Wundervoll!
