Shaykh Hasan Ali has given a wonderful lecture on Marriage (including the many exempleries of people getting married, customs etc).

It includes some comic, BUT do not watch just for comedy because it is a serious subject where many people that want to marry or parents want their children to get married etc tend to ignore these important features in marriage.

Alhamdulillah, I found this really interesting and very benefitting as i lacked the knowledge about marriage. I request those brothers and sisters who are intending to marry should watch this, those who are parents should also watch this because we tend to follow our culture rather the Deen (Qur'an and Sunnah).

I also want to thank hikmah.co.uk for providing this lecture on the net for us to benefit from - May Allah increase their efforts. Ameen.

P.s. Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam Al Kawthari has also given a lecture on Marriage on hikmah.co.uk. Mufti Saab talks more about how Muslims that are either born Muslims or have reverted to Islam and the many differences etc.

There are also many lectures found on good youtube Islamic Sources like: majesstic786, hanafifiqh, halaldawarecords

Also Sheikh Mumtaz's lectures found on 'majesstic786', are real eye-openers.

Check them out!!!!

  • what should happen to disobedient children (according to the bible): look up king james version of bible = deutoronomy 21:18-21 [stoned to death]

what should happen to a person who commits a sin worthy of death, what punishment is prescribed = king james version, deutoronomy 21:22 [being hung on a tree]

what should happen to a woman if she does not cover her head = king james version, 1 corinthians 11:4-6 [shave her head]

death for hitting father = exodus21:15

  • no , nothing wrong with stoning a woman to death?

-ask choudray, your sick, political leader

  • @darkmossie633 Stoning 2death is a part judaic laws, as well as other religions. Islamically, stoning 2death can only take place if the sinner confesses the crime, and then is punished dependin on sinner's circumstances; or if there R witnesses dat hav seen the crime committed by the sinner openly and is reported. stoning 2death can only apply in a country that bases their government on shari'a law. if God decided to give us lenient punishments then i guess we wud stil commit the same crimes.

  • @darkmossie633 what r ur thoughts on stoning to death? and ru a monotheist, polytheist, agnostic or atheist? please shed some light on why u strongly disagree with these laws?

  • look, you sent me private reply, which you have not entered here in the public domain

When i was at school, we went to church every day. It was a christian school, and although it got a bit monotonous, we were engrained with the teachings of Jesus.

Which means basically, living your life with the understanding that people do

make mistakes, but they can be learned from and forgiven, which is not the way with Sharia law, which has many interprations as to how ruthlessly it should be applied

  • @mohammedislam12 you failed to answer my question about what happens when a muslim man commits adultery?

-and don't do an Anjem Choudray on me, who answers all questions with a question, because he cannot

    tell the truth

    -ANSWER MY QUESTION?

  • @darkmossie633

when the sinner is stoned to death, that person becomes then pure of that sin. No one with sin can enter paradise, and so all believers that may carry sin must be purified through punishment or certain trials and tribulations in this world. it is like some sort of intercession before being punished with a more serious punishment.

  • @mohammedislam12 just to add from Bible John 8:7 ( up to date modern INTERNATIONAL version)

when they kept questioning him (JESUS that is) he straightened up and said to them

"if anyone of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her"

  • @mohammedislam12 what happens to a muslim man if he is found guilty of adultery, according to YOUR VISION OF GOD?

  • @darkmossie633

the stoning to death is one of the laws commanded by God, if you believe in God (believer), then how can you have doubts in His Laws? if you believe that we evolved from apes/monkeys or that the 'Big Bang' occured by chance, then it is expected of you to feel that their is a flaw in God's Laws. Because you do not understand and nor do you want to see whether there is a design made for you and i, and not that things happen by chance.
