Thank god for these people who put their lives at rusks to save us. Thank you RNLI

Now that line looks more like a thread, should have pulled a 2 1/2 tow line instead , appeares all they could do was keep it (the boat) into the wind and wave not much headway in that weather..!

One question, what kind of cables are they using??...they must be kind of elastic or else they wold snap on a hard push wouldn't they??..sorry for the ignorance about that stuff*

My goodness. I keep watching RNLI clips and my awe never ceases! What happened here? Did the fishing boat lose its power? It seems remarkable that you could get it back into shore in such conditions.

well done lads you got me all the way. i've been in a severn class and seen a setup rescue with a seaking at land's end
How much power do lifeboats have ?
Cool vid and thumbs up to all who are in the RNLI :)

@roblawler Hi, the amount of power all depends on what class of lifeboat we're talking about. In Arranmore's case, they have a Severn class lifeboat, the largest in our fleet. It is powered by twin Caterpillar 3412 TA marine diesel engines, 1,250hp each at 2,300rpm
