I'm defiantly want this because its a lot less complicated than a TCG and I could play this with my cousins. But those shadow elves... Why couldn't they just be vampires or vampire elves? I guess I shouldn't judge what the designer was thinking, come on though it would of been awesome to have vampire elves...

Really confused... everywhere I'm looking this doesn't come out until 10/12. Was it released once and did it sell out everywhere? I can't even find it on eBay...

@siriuslyawesome During my time owning the game (just 1 week), I have won with the Vanguards a couple of times because i figured out how to play them, and therefore resent my earlier statement.
@thedicetower My cousin built the most incredible Guild Dwarves deck I've ever seen. He hasn't lost a single game with it yet. And he built it on his second day playing.
@r0gershrubber how did you get the Master Set? It's still in PreOrder...

@Yaoau Or better yet, use Mayday Games Chimera's normal 57.5mm x 89mm sized sleeves, fit like a glove, the best there is.

Great review Tom.
A couple notes: I own every card to date and I have them all sleeved. Everything fits in the master set box if you stack the factions 2 to a slot. There is probably enough room for 2 more factions or one more reinforcement pack.
Also, Tom got a few of the details wrong about specific cards (although the gist was correct). If you want to look at all the cards, go to the Plaid Hat Games website or board game geek.

Also using Sleeves is perfectly fine if you choose the right type, use those that are meant for Yu-Ge-Oh card sized and they will fit
